The KA350 Emergency Radio is a multifunction radio that is a NOAA weather radio with NOAA weather alert and also is a portable short wave radio.   This solar radios doubles as a hand crank emergency cell phone charger.  It also has a built in flashlight and even includes earphones to listen to this radio privately.  Not only does it have a built in battery pack that can be charged by hand cranking or thorugh the solar panel but it can also use 3 AA battereis to operate this unit.  In total, you have 5 included power sources to power this radio for any emergency situations. The included power sources are hand cranking, solar panel, 3 replaceable regular AA batteries, included rechargeable battery pack, or USB power from computer or any 5V USB charger like the Sunlinq USB Mini Solar Panel.

This Solar Powered Emergency Radio is designed to charge many small electronic items with its built in USB charing port that can connect to many standard USB enabled gadgets like your iPod or cellphone.

The 7 Band Weather radio precisely gives you weather bands. The weather alert feature enables you to receive the alert signal when a disaster arrives.

The Kaito KA350 is very similar to the American Red Cross by Eton FR160 except it includes a Shortwave band which recieves stations from anywhere in the world, so you are not limited to the local AM FM stations.
