Eton G4000A AM/FM/SW Portable Receiver (Replaces the Grundig YB-400) The G4000A Eton AM/FM/SW Portable Receiver (Replaces the YB-400), with its sleek titanium look, is packed with features like no other compact shortwave radio in the world. The manufacturer of the G4000a has informed us that the G4000A will no longer be available. Eton Grundig has replaced the Grundig G4000A with the Grundig G5 radio which has the same features as the Eton Grundig G4000a. The Eton Grundig FR300 radio, Freeplay Summit radio and Eton Grundig Grundig S350 deluxe radio, are also highly recommended radios with many of the same features as the Eton G4000A. Power, performance, and design have reached new heights!   The Eton G4000A (Replaces the Grundig YB-400) receives anything you want to listen to; pulls in AM/FM-stereo and shortwave.    The Eton G4000A shortwave radio also has single sideband (SSB) circuitry that allows for reception of shortwave two-way communications such as HAM, aeronautical and marine. Precise tuning is assured. Two bandwidths are included. The narrow position affords maximum selectivity, or the wide position may be chosen for best audio fidelity. The keypad will quickly get you to any frequency or store up to 40 of your favorite stations in the presets. The presets may be accessed directly or you can scan through them by using the radio's second set of UP/DOWN buttons. The G4000A can also frequency search. External jacks on the side of the radio are provided for earphone (3.5 mm), antenna (3.5 mm) and 9 VDC input.
