We have been experiencing a higher than acceptable defect rate with the SM837 radio.
The SM837 will no longer be available.
We have added the Katio KA-007 as a replacement world band radio with identical features (crank, solar, AM/FM/SW).
The
Kaito KA-007 costs less, can receive broadcast signals from regular AM and FM radio stations,
NOAA weather channels, over the air TV stations as well as international shortwave and taxi,
and police broadcasts. The four way charging of the KA-007 means it can operate for an unlimited
duration without depending on external power because it can be powered by the built in solar panel,
hand crank, AA batteries or with the include 120 volt AC adapter.
