The Electrilite Flashlight does not use batteries or conventional bulbs that burn out. Instead,
it contains 5 LED's and a unique charging system that allows you to create power by rotating
the crank handle, in a clockwise direction. Electrilite's powerful charging system provides over
30 minutes of bright light, from only 1 minute of cranking.
Using the Electrilite Flashlight
The Electriclite Flashlight has three buttons. The left button turns on two LED's,
the center button turns on the middle LED, and the right button turns on the other two LED's;
which can be turned on in any combination. The center LED is red, the remaining four are white.
Since our eyes become acclimated to low light environments within an hour in darkness, the
Electrilite has been specifically designed with one red LED to help retain our night vision. If
exposed to white light, we lose this acclimation and must start over. However, the red light
helps us retain our night vision, making this an invaluable product for anyone to carry for
emergencies.

Charging your Cell Phone with Electrilite Windup Flashlight
The Electrilite Flashlight is also engineered to charge your cell phone. To charge your phone,
turn off all LED lights. Attach the correct cell phone adapter to the power cord and plug it into
your phone. Then simply plug the other end of the power cord into the Electrilite. Begin
charging your phone by cranking the handle at a rate of approximately 2-3 cranks per second,
which generates a steady 6.2 volts. Because the product is voltage-regulated, turning the
handle faster cannot damage the phone and will not speed the charging process. Three minutes
of cranking will provide 2-8 minutes of talk time. However, continuous cranking will provide you
with an endless supply of talk time.
