MicroSolar® Pocket Charger
Emergency Cell Phone Backup Power Supply
The MicroSolar AAA pocket charger provides up to 45 minutes of cell phone backup power. The solar cells charge 4 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries (included) that can then act as a power backup
for your cell phone by using the connector that comes with the unit.
You can charge the unit with the included auto adapter. Additionally a super bright LED flashlight is built into the MicroSolar unit.
Leave the MicroSolar in the sun and always be prepared with power for your phone and an emergency light.
The Micro Solar AAA nickel metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries may be removed to power many devices that were made for
"AAA" alkaline batteries. The MicroSolar (NiMH) "AAA" batteries can be recharged up to 500 times. The Micro Solar batteries do not
suffer from memory loss or shallow charging. The Solar panel is particularly useful in maintaining a fully charged battery. The charge
can be maintained if exposed to sunlight for a short period of time, less than 1 hour per day, or under a light bulb (incandescent)
of 60 watts or higher. When exposed to direct sunlight this device can be charged by the Solar Panel in 1 to 2 days.
What the MicroSolar can be used for:
Emergency Cell Phone Use: By using the connector provided the MicroSolar power supply when fully charged can give you 60 minutes of emergency talk time for your cell phone.
Charging Batteries: You can charge either 2 or 4 NiMH batteries. The MicroSolar comes with 4 NiMH rechargeable batteries.
You can charge batteries 2-ways, with solar power or with the included auto adapter.
Emergency Flashlight: The White LED light doubles as an emergency flashlight and a low battery indicator. The flashlight
feature will operate up to 50 continuous hours.
The included cell phone cable has a USB connector that can be plugged into the MicroSolar or into your
laptop computer with a USB port to charge your cell phone.
