The SL9100MRC has an attached Solar Panel and two other ways to charge which include auto adaptor and UL listed house adaptor which stores in the back of the unit. With a built-in emergency feature, leaving the light plugged into the house current and the on/off switch in the on position, if there is a power failure, the light automatically turns on.
