16 Gauge 2 conductor Flat Wire is great for speakers and surround sound installations and comes in 50 and 100 foot rolls.  It has a capicity of 13 amps, is 1.25 inches wide and .025 inches thick.  Our adhesive Flat Speaker Wire sticks directly on a wall and most surfaces and hides your speaker wires on the wall and under the carpet.  Just peel and stick the Flat Wire.  Crimp the wires at both ends and attach directly to your speakers on one side and components on the other.

The Flat Wire has a white Mylar backing on the outside of the wire that is paintable.  You can also wallpaper over it or even place drywall mud over the flat wire and finish to match your walls texture.  Flat Wire also works perfectly under carpet with no bumps that you can see or feel.

We also carry Flat Wire to Round Wire Connector Blocks. Simply expose the Flat Wire copper then crimp and insert into connector and screw down the positive attachment. Do the same on the other side of the connector for round wire and you have transitioned the Flat Wire to regular round wire.

Flat wire is designed and meant only for low voltage wiring applications. Flat Wire is not designed for 120 VAC.
