18 Gauge 4 Wire Flat Wire is flat copper wire with an adhesive sticky backing on the inside and a paintable white backing on the outside.  The 18 gauge 4 wire Flat Wire is the perfect solution for 2 sets of speakers for your surround sound installations.  It has a capacity of 10 amps is 1.25 inches wide and .011 inches thick. No need to put holes in the wall just paint the Flat Speakler Wire to hide the wire in plain site. Flat Wire works well for any low voltage remodeling wiring application where you want to keep repairs to a minimum.

The adhesive allows the wire to sticks directly on a wall or most surfaces so no attachments are needed to hold the wire in place. You just peel and stick, crimp wires at both ends and attach directly to your speakers on one side and components on the other. Flat Wire also works perfectly under carpet with no bumps that you can see or feel.

The white Mylar backing on the outside of the wire is paintable so the wire will hide when painted. To make the wire completely invisible you can wallpaper over it or even place drywall mud over the wire and paint.

We also carry Flat Wire to Round Wire Connector Blocks. Simply expose the Flat Wire copper then crimp and insert into connector and screw down the positive attachment. Do the same on the other side of the connector for round wire and you have transitioned the Flat Wire to regular round wire.

Flat wire is designed and meant only for low voltage wiring applications. Flat Wire is not designed for 120 VAC.
