22 Gauge 2 wire Flat Wire is great for Security System Installations all your low voltage applications. It is .75 inches wide and .011 inches thick and will carry a capcity of 4.6 amps.  Flat Wire works well for any low voltage remodeling wiring application where you want to keep repairs to a minimum.

The adhesive allows the wire to sticks directly on a wall or most surfaces. You just peel and stick the flat wire, crimp wires at both ends and attach directly to your components.

The white Mylar backing on the outside of the wire is paintable so the wire will hide when painted. To make the wire completely invisible you can wallpaper over it or even place drywall mud over the wire and paint.  Flat Wire works perfectly under carpet and on carpet pad with no bumps that you can see or feel.

We also carry Flat Wire to Round Wire Connector Blocks. Simply expose the Flat Wire copper then crimp and insert into connector and screw down the positive attachment. Do the same on the other side of the connector for round wire and you have transitioned the Flat Wire to a regular round wire.

Flat wire is designed and meant only for low voltage wiring applications. Flat Wire is not designed for 120 VAC.
