24 gauge Flat Wire is flattened copper wire with an adhesive sticky backing for low voltage wiring installations like security systems.  The 24 Gauge Flat wire is .75 inches wide and .011 inches thick and with a capcity of 3.7 amps. Flat Wire sticks to the walls on the inside and has a paintable mylar white backing on the outside. Flat Wire also works perfectly under carpet with no bumpsor bulges.

Just peel and stick the Flat Wire, crimp individual wires at both ends and attach to components.  The Mylar backing on the outside of the wire hides when painted. To make the wire completely invisible you can wallpaper over the Flat Wire or even place drywall mud over the wire and finish with your wall texture.

We also carry Flat Wire to Round Wire Connector Blocks. Simply expose the Flat Wire copper then crimp and insert into connector and screw down the positive attachment. Do the same on the other side of the connector for round wire and you have transitioned the Flat Wire to regular round wire.

Flat wire is designed and meant only for low voltage wiring applications. Flat Wire is not designed for 120 VAC.
